SplashON | Ontario Floating Water Park

Swimming Is a Huge Part of Splash On!

General Swimming Policy

All participants must be able to swim 20 meters independently while wearing a lifejacket, without any assistance.

Participants must swim from shore to the floating water park entirely on their own; no help of any kind is allowed.

While on the water park, you will slip, slide and fall into the water. Participants must remain calm and be able to swim to the nearest step to safely get back on.

Lifejackets are required for all participants at all times.

We strongly recommend that if you do not know how to swim or are afraid of being in the water, this activity may not be suitable for you.

Your safety is always our top priority.

Additional Policies for Our Barrie Location

Centennial Beach, home to our Barrie water park, drops suddenly to over 8 meters (25 feet). Participants must be comfortable in deep water and able to calmly swim 20 meters on their own.

By purchasing tickets, you confirm that all participants in your group can confidently complete our basic swimming assessment if required.

The basic swimming assessment requires participants to swim 20 meters independently in a minimum water depth of 2 meters while wearing a lifejacket, without assistance from lifeguards, flotation devices, or other guests. If assistance is provided, the participant may be asked to repeat the assessment at the discretion of our lifeguard team.

If a participant is unable to successfully complete the basic swimming assessment, and our on-site management team determines that the activity would be unsafe for them due to their swimming ability, they will not be permitted to enter the water park and must remain on the sand.

If you need help choosing the best location for your group or have questions about our swim requirements, please call us at 705-279-1322 to speak with our team.
